Wakeboard Rope Basics

It is not possible all the old tow rope if Wakeboarding use. Think twice before using a water ski rope for our wakeboarding. The basics of wakeboarding strings are covered here.

Elongation

strings do not stretch when necessary, and wakeboarding. Strings, the recoil direction when the air wakeboarder, reducing the height to reach. strings tighter to allow more control. How does this differ from those for water? Rope for water skiing provide plenty of stretch designedwhich helps to pull back and forth on the go for the course and much more forgiving.

Tow rope length

Your performance behind the boat has a lot to do with the length of the rope you. A good choice of length for the beginner wakeboarder to start is from 45-50 feet. The length of the line, you should choose you feel comfortable in jumping and clearing the wake.

If you find you have trouble clearing the course, if you try to jump rope shortening.shorter cables place the boundary in a smaller area of the track. The narrowest point of the sequence is closer to the boat. The greater the distance from the boat the larger the width of the track. If you find that you have too much riding in the washing of the Wake (choppy water), then you should apply for an extension of the rope.

If your skills and progress of wakeboarding experience, you can try switching to a length of rope 50-55 feet long. shorter cables means less air when you catchJumping. The shorter the cable the lower the amount you will be able to get into the air. For tricks that it is often necessary as the weather as it can get.
